"Thanks for your letters and prayers. I am in Paris. I came here on the 22nd. Since it was Sunday I thought we could go to the Embassy of Mali for the visa on Monday but being the feast of Ramzan, it was closed. I will go tomorrow.
There are several Sisters here who have been in Africa before and know how to go about how to do the things. I will be accompanied by Sr. Rosario tomorrow. She is a lovely person. She was the Novice mistress there in Burkina Faso for 11 years but now she is sick. She had some problems with the kidneys and also she was in a terrible accident where the car turned topsy turvy thrice.
It is only one day that I am here but already I can speak a few words in French. They gave me the office, the Missal, the Bible and so many other books. Today we went to the library and bought an English:French dictionary.
Do keep in touch. I miss India...
