My Diary – February 2010 5th February 2010: I always wanted to comb my hair in the African style that they use here & today one of the girls from the hostel did it for me. Today was my day to just relax, play with the cat & the dolls. 6th February 2010: Clarisse the cousin of Sr. Christa is with us with her son Raul. He is a treat & keeps us entertained with his hyper activity which keeps everyone on their toes. 8th February 2010: I continue visiting the girls of the Centre. It’s a wonderful experience of getting to know the people, their life style & habits. Many bury their dead in the compound of their homes. The poor live in rented places which consists of one room with one door. They cook outside in the compound. 16th February 2010: The girls of the foyer & Centre went on a walking pilgrimage to Kiri, specially organized by the Diocese for the youth of Bobo. It was an overnight affair. They had very good talks, stations of the cross, rosary, etc. They had a chance to receive the sacrament of confession. & it ended with a well prepared Eucharist. 21st February 2010: Margueritte received her medal , a sign that she wants to continue her formation seriously to learn more about the Religious of Mary Immaculate in her search to follow Christ more radically. 20th February 2010: Every Thursday we have a class for those girls in the centre who have already received the sacraments of iniciation to deepen in their faith. Today through a little dynamic, they learnt the importance to work together in unity & love.
