My Diary – July 2010
4th July 2010: I am having a good time here in Nasso. The weather is cool & everything is green. I can hear the birds chirping. Each flower, each blade of grass, each star at night speaks of God’s profound love for me.
6th June 2010: We have dogs & pups & cats. They are so cute. What is surprising is that they all eat & sleep together. In fact the cats suckle the female dog & she allows it. We also have hens, ducks, rabbits & goats & kids.
11th July 2010: I came to meet the children who are sponsored, to collect the thank-you letters to their God parents. However there was rain in the evening & very few children turned up.
20th to 28th July. Retreat - The preacher - Pere Gregoire .We were 20 in all – 1 aspirant, 2 postulants, 3 novices, 6 sisters with temporary vows & 8 sisters with perpetual vows. It was a lovely experience of God’s love. We had two talks daily, lauds & Vespers together, Mass was in the afternoon. The timetable was very relaxed. The weather contributed to make the place cool. Everything is green & beautiful.
25th July 2010: Simplice’s daughter & also Aimee’s little girl are growing beautifully. Julien –the brother of Marie is here in Bobo & he is very well in health.
15th June to 30th July 2010: Two professors gave the monitrices a course in Coupe & Couture. Madame Francine taught them many models of petites robes & corounnes. Messieur Yacoub taught them to stitch a set of shirt & pant for boys for a week .
31st July 2010: The juniors & novices learnt
how to make rosaries. Fr. Gilbert recently ordained was the teacher.
